Reiki

Amethyst Reiki Center

Reiki is a form of alternative medicine developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui. Since originating in Japan, Reiki has been adapted into varying cultural traditions across the world.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Being a Parent

I love being a parent. Parenting can be the most challenging even years later when my children are all grown up. Parenting may also wake up memories & even triggers from within hidden areas of our inner world that were dormant until we became a parent.
